APPROACH:

Natural tones and a neutral colour palette create a calming ambience for this crafted laundry room, with understated simplicity enhanced by textural surfaces. Complementary material qualities are amplified by integrating the following features: beech clothes rails, reeded glass doors, fluted birch plywood sliding doors, brass door handles, and Foresso, a timber terrazzo work surface.

We were challenged to reimagine and transform a lifeless utility room into a practical space for undertaking household laundry. Practicality and functional aspects were fully considered by integrating a series of hand-crafted clothes racks. We created a more serene environment by disguising the boiler system and household appliances, and included a worktop counter for folding clothes, and ensured ample storage space for household items.
