In Bloom

A flower theatre of dreams was the focus for In Bloom when we worked together to create retail display furniture for this independent florist, flower studio and retail space in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham

A feature window display was created to attract attention from the street and inside an array of adaptable and mobile display units. A key clamp system was used for versatility and to enable the furniture to have longevity for adaptability as the business evolves.

The industrial look was softened with a romantic, rosy pink wall finish, paired with the warmth of birch plywood and complementary Formica on the work surfaces. Copper-coated mesh panels enhanced the pinky tones and provided a place to hang botanical-themed illustrated cards.

Reflecting on the project, Jen said

"Dual Works are truly dedicated and talented creators. Functionality and productivity is at the centre of their design process which was invaluable to me whilst setting up my small studio. They took time to understand what I required of my workspace and created customised pieces that are versatile and multifunctional.
