National Memorial Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum commissioned us to design, fabricate and install exhibition display furniture for the ‘Remember Together 1944’ exhibition, located in a primary position by their main entrance and café.

We were challenged to design a freestanding display for historic garments without using traditional mannequins. We created a pavilion which echoed the architectural details and materials found within the exhibition building space. The linear framework created an atmospheric environment which changed throughout the day as light and shadow shifted on the garments.
